How I found my style
I’ve always loved shopping. Whether it was trips to Kohl’s with my dad or Banana Republic runs after college, I was always excited to grab something new.
But my closet was chaos. Random items. Nothing matched. And before every event, I’d stand there thinking, how do I have so many clothes and nothing to wear?
Around my 30th birthday, I finally figured it out. I asked my wife for help, got rid of stuff I never wore, and started building around a few basics that actually worked together.
Then I found Gemini, a small shop in Chicago that opened my eyes to quality, fit, and timeless brands that still felt like me.
That’s when everything started to make sense. Except one thing. Even with better clothes, I still needed ideas.
That’s why I started SimpleMensStyle!
It’s for guys who want to look sharp without overthinking it. I curate simple outfit inspiration that makes getting dressed easier.
